C. Ramoji Rao a prominent industrialist, media entrepreneur and film producer passed away in the early hours of 08 Jun 2024.
Ramoji Rao was the Founder of Ramoji Film City and Eenadu.
Ramoji Rao was honoured with Padma Vibhushan for his contributions in journalism, literature and education.
He was the founder and owner of Eenadu newspaper, ETV Network, Usha Kiran Movies and Ramoji Rao Film City.
His other ventures were Margadarsi Chit Fund, Dolphin Group of Hotels, Kalanjali Shopping Mall, Priya Pickles and Mayuri Film Distributors.
Hon’ble Chief Minister of Telangana, Shri A Revanth Reddy has announced the funeral of Ramoji Rao shall be held with state funerals.
Many leading politicians, actors and many more have offered their condolences.
